Comment

Using unweighted comparison, the average inflation is an annualised factor of 15.35, which is slightly above the apparent trend of x 11.00.

It is the inflation in some items which is a major cause for concern - and must indicate either extreme profiteering and/or a re-adjustment of previously subsidized or semi-subsidized food items...

Consumers and/or government and/or trade bodies should act to prevent such exploitation of the consumer, or importers should import a cheaper alternative than production monopolies are providing...
